In January Klangstof appeared with 'Hostage'. A slow-burning, In Rainbows-esque cut, it showcased an assured knack for song-craft and foreshadowed impressive things to come from an enigmatic new artist. Now, in a somewhat unusual show of generosity, the Norwegian artist, who recently signed to progressive label Mind of a Genius (Gallant, ZHU, THEY.), has unveiled two new tracks. 'Island', which comes alongside the equally attention-grabbing 'Amansworld', is another haunting, atmospheric outing which builds from its sparse beginnings into a beautifully chaotic climax that recalls the likes of Sigur Ros and M83.
